Valmet opens new service centre in Chile for mining and metals

Valmet is including a brand new circulate management options service centre in Antofagasta, Chile, expanding its offering to the mining and metals business.
The Antofagasta service centre starts operating this month.
The new Antofagasta service centre will provide a full vary of flow management providers, including the replacement and upkeep of valves, pumps and third-party equipment. It will enable agile delivery of critical spare and wear elements as properly as digital tools and companies for the entire product and plants cycle. More may also serve as a customer training facility.
The Valmet portfolio for mining, metals and metal consists of the Neles, Jamesbury, Neles Easyflow and Flowrox manufacturers.
Valmet entered into the move management business in April 2022 when the commercial move management company Neles was merged into Valmet.
“Over the years, we’ve systematically expanded our flow management installed base and resolution providing for the mining and metals business in the area,” says Fabio Maia, head of the South & Central America Area at Valmet’s Flow Control enterprise line. “The new facility allows us to higher respond to the growing demand for buyer help in addition to drive our growth in minerals processing. From Antofagasta, our service teams shall be close to buyer operations in Chile and in Peru.”
